FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

Truth, Expansion and the Courage to Course-Correct

This Full Moon in Sagittarius is not here for the surface-level version of your life. It’s bold, blunt, and spiritual at its core, illuminating where your beliefs no longer match your experience and asking you to re-align with your truth, not your plan.

While Gemini season has had us gathering ideas, talking things through, and dipping into possibility, this Sagittarius Moon wants to take a wider view. What have you learned lately that changes what you thought you knew? Are you willing to pivot if it means real freedom?

This is not a comfortable moon. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter expands whatever it touches, the good, the bad, and the avoidant. If you’ve been bypassing your gut in order to stay agreeable, this Full Moon may force an honest reckoning.

Energetic Focus

  • Truth-telling: Within yourself, not just to others. What have you been pretending not to know?

  • Belief Detox: What story did you outgrow but still carry?

  • Spiritual Alignment: Not with a guru or trend — with your own knowing.

  • Freedom Activation: Not running away, but walking toward what aligns.

Signs You’re Feeling This Moon

  • Irritability when others project expectations onto you

  • Feeling spiritually restless or frustrated by superficiality

  • Urge to travel, write, speak out, or shift something big

  • Moments of clarity about where you’ve been compromising your deeper truth

  • Sudden desire to enrol in a course, quit a job, or leave a situation

Journal Prompts

Where have I outgrown my current environment, beliefs, or relationships?

What would freedom actually look like for me — not just in theory?

What truth have I been avoiding because it might change everything?

What role does spiritual or philosophical alignment play in my choices?

If I could rewrite one part of my story from a higher perspective, what would shift?

Full Moon Release Ritual – “The Truth Will Set You Free”

You will need:

  • Candle

  • Journal or paper and pen

  • Fireproof bowl or container

  • Quiet space for reflection

Steps:

  1. Ground and Centre
Sit quietly. Breathe into your body. Feel your feet on the floor. Say:
“I call back my energy from all places it does not belong. I am present.”

  2. Write it Out
Reflect on what no longer feels aligned. Write down the beliefs, obligations, or false truths you are ready to release. Be specific. These can include:

    • Roles you’ve been performing

    • Stories you inherited

    • Relationships built on old versions of you

  3. Declare the Truth
For each line you wrote to release, write a new truth or belief to replace it.
Example: “I am not responsible for others’ comfort. I am responsible for my truth.”

  4. Burn and Release
Safely burn the paper containing what you’re releasing. As the smoke rises, say:
“I release all that is not aligned with my soul’s path. I choose truth.”

  5. Close the Ritual
Blow out your candle. Breathe deeply. Journal any final thoughts or insights.

Final Thought

This Sagittarius Full Moon doesn’t ask for perfection. It asks for honesty. Where are you living out a version of yourself that no longer feels true, and what would happen if you finally let that version go?

Big truths lead to big freedom. Let this be the Full Moon you stop pretending and start expanding.
